PPC Management: What Can Actually Be Automated

  • Zero-conversion rules: "If a keyword has spent more than $30 with zero conversions over 21 days, pause it." This stops the slow bleed from keywords that cost money without generating sales.
  • Search term harvesting: "If a search term from an auto campaign has 3 or more conversions, add it as an exact match keyword in the corresponding manual campaign." This automates the search term to keyword promotion process.
